This Delivery and Returns policy also forms part of the Terms and Conditions governing the use of this site.
We presently only accept orders placed via this site for delivery to UK Mainland addresses only. If you wish to place an order for delivery outside of UK Mainland, please contact us BEFORE placing an order. Orders placed via this site for delivery outside of UK Mainland addresses will not be accepted.
We will endeavour to despatch all orders within 7 working days of receipt of order subject to the clearance in full of payment funds however this can vary and cannot be guaranteed. All goods sold are made-to-order so all delivery times quoted are estimated and should be used as a guide only. Should you require an order to be delivered by a specific date or sooner than the estimated date, please contact us BEFORE placing your order so we can confirm or otherwise if fast track delivery is possible.
Deliveries are usually made on the next working day from despatch but this cannot be guaranteed and can take up to 5 working days.
All deliveries are sent via secure courier service or Royal Mailed tracked service.
All orders are carefully packaged to ensure safe arrival. If you are unable to check your package in front of the courier, please ensure that you sign for the goods as 'Unchecked' in the unlikely event of having to raise an insurance claim. All damaged goods must be advised to us within 1 working day from receipt or we will not be able to accept liability.
If any additional customs charges or duties on International shipments or destinations outside of the EU apply, they are not calculated, monitored or charged by us, nor are they our responsibility. For overseas shipments please check with your local post office or customs department regarding any applicable duties or taxes.
Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have a cooling off period during which you are entitled to cancel your purchase if, for any reason, you decide you no longer want the purchased goods. This is an additional right and does not affect your statutory right to reject faulty goods. You have the right to cancel your purchase from the date the contract is concluded (i.e. the date we despatch your order / send our Order Confirmation email) until the expiry of a period of 7 working days beginning the day after the day on which you received your purchase.
We cannot accept cancellations of orders where the item has been used, is not in its original condition or without all of its original packaging.
The notice of cancellation must be made in writing via email to Artcookie before despatching any cancelled items, where upon we will advise you on the returns address. You must state in your notice of cancellation communication the reason for return. Please enclose a note giving the reason for the return along with a copy or the original Invoice. Unless the goods are found to be faulty you are wholly responsible for the cost of returning cancelled purchases.
All goods must be returned in their original unused condition with all the packaging intact. Please ensure are any returned goods are packaged safely and securely. We strongly recommend for your own protection that you use a recorded delivery service or a courier offering proof of delivery. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt and all returned goods remain the responsibility of the customer until we confirm to you that any returned items have been received. You the customer are responsible for the cost of returning goods except where they are faulty.
We will refund the purchase price for the returned item within 30 days of the day on which your notice of cancellation was given. You are expected to take reasonable care of the item you wish to return and we reserve the right to make an appropriate deduction from the purchase price where goods are not returned in the condition in which you received them. Refunds will be credited to the original purchasing credit or debit card.
Any International customs taxes or duties are non-refundable.
