·         What will I receive?
Our canvas prints use the best pigment-based inks and are, if treated carefully, fade resistant for up to 75 years.  For canvas, we 
use the highest quality canvas designed specifically for maximum performance with our inks and printers.  Your canvas is white-wrapped 
as standard (i.e. white edges on sides of canvas) for precision, clean lines and maximum visibility of your artwork.  Your artwork is 
mounted onto 4.4cm thick, custom-made, quality frames and is ready to hang upon receipt.
 
·         How long will it take from placing an order to receipt of artwork? 
Please allow 15 working days. 
 
·         What is the best kind of picture to send? 
Although artcookie will enhance your images free of charge to maximise their clarity and sharpness, it is recommended that you send 
images at their highest possible file / image size to maximise their resolution for rendering. 
 
Artcookie image advice and guidelines: 
- images should be in JPEG format 
- ideally be at least 1 mega byte (MB) file size.  You can check this on your PC by right-clicking on the image and select 'Properties.’ 
- if taking a new digital photo especially, set camera to the highest possible image size setting.  For example, if you have a 5 million 
mega pixel camera, set you camera to the 5 million mega pixel setting.  Taking shots in clear, even light, avoiding dark shadows and 
contrast and keeping the background as clear and simple as possible - if you are scanning an existing non-digital photo, set your 
scanner to the highest possible resolution 
 
·         What if my photos are not of a suitable file size / resolution? 
Images with low resolution could result in low detail artwork.  We may still be able to use images of a lower than recommended file 
size depending on the artcookie design that you wish to buy.  If the images you send are not suitable for rendering, we will contact you. 
In such circumstances we will recommend that you send alternative images.  If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of you images 
please contact us (see Contact Page) and we will be happy to review.  In all circumstances artcookie will only commence work using 
suitable images to ensure we bring you the highest possible quality work 
 
·         How do I send my photos? 
You can upload via the website or email.  Alternatively you can send hardcopies or a disc to our address which can be found on the 
Contact Page. 
 
If you send photographs it is recommended that you post in a hard-backed envelope and do not send originals; artcookie cannot be held
responsible for any items lost or damaged in the post.  If sending hardcopy photographs or a disc please enclose a pre-paid envelope 
for their return. 
 
·         What will you do to my photos? 
You photos will be rendered to suit the artwork design you have ordered.  This may involve digitally removing people or subjects from 
their background, cropping subjects, altering colours or any other appropriate rendering suitable to your artwork choice. 
  
·         Will my artwork look exactly the same as the examples shown on your website? 
Your artwork will include your own images.  Your artwork may differ in layout from those shown on the website, depending on the
number of images you choose to add.  For example, the Comic Strip option shown on the website uses three customer images. 
However, if you elect to use the maximum five images, then your artwork will be rendering to accommodate five images.  
Please also note that the colours shown on screen may vary slightly from those on your finished artwork as we cannot determine
individual customer monitor settings. 
 
·         Can you remove red eye and date stamps? 
Yes, this can be done free of charge. 
 
·         Can you do alternative sizes to those shown on your website? 
The sizes we offer of generally the most popular sizes selected by customers.  However, if you would like an alternative size 
please email for a quote.  Please note that all current artwork designs are in a square format. 
 
·         Can I include more images into a design than the maximum limit quoted in your Gallery Page? 
This is possible but will incur an additional charge.  Please contact us for a quote prior to placing any order. 
 
·         Can I change the colours shown in your designs to a choice of my own? 
This may be possible depending on the design but may incur a small additional charge.  Please contact us for a quote. 
 
·         Do you offer a framing service? 
Unfortunately arkcookie does not have inhouse mounting or framing facilities.
